Okee and I run into a lot of playful dogs during our daily outing. It's a little troublesome when I cannot tell whether the owner of the other dog want his or her dog to play or not. Sometimes, but rare, I am that person.
I can think of many valid reasons why that might be the case. Anyhow, recently we ran into two puppies. It was nice to see how playful they were. Okee didn't exactly play with them because she probably is well aware of her own size and age. While the tiny little puppy playfully jump towards her, she would dodge and let out a little warning growl sound. I have seen how she behave around annoying puppies before, she would only repeatedly give out warnings but that's it. Her warning sounds does absolutely nothing. If she took real action, I'll be in trouble but she is nice and patience. She might be saying "watch out."
The other puppy we saw just show off her speedyness and ran around in circles. She got bored by Okee's lack of action and wanted to move on after a while. The puppy was like "I have shown you what I can sort of do and you were not tempted to run with me at all. I'm going to find another dog who will. It was nice meeting you though."
