Rotten Tree Log 5

The Tree is still standing and I noticed that the last two photos I posted look very similar to each other.  For this posting, I decided to take a photo of it from a different angle so my readers can have a different perspective.  I do circle checks around the tree whenever I seriously look at it.  I continue to remove dead branches from it, clean it a little from debris and stuff so that the tree and everything near it, on it and etc can breath better.  We all need a little air.

Beside the tree, a shrub of daisy came out this season.  Daisy reminds me of my friend and classmate, name purposely not posted, who helped and encouraged me to keep practicing tyihg daisy chain during rope class. Yes, I obtained the skill to tie daisy chain with no knots.

Sometime this year, I will attempt to grow a cherry tree beside or near the daisys because a long time ago, my neighbour had a cherry tree in his backyard.  The land upon which that tree stood changed hands more than once.  The cherry tree is no longer there.  I have forgotten that I picked cherries from that tree once a long time ago until I saw a photograph of myself picking cherries on a ladder beside the tree! All I remember is my neighbour happily sharing a bag of cherries with us every season until he moved.

Anyhow, I hope I am successful with efforts. I have been saving cherry seeds! Good luck!

Q

I didn't think about you at all this past Valentine's day but I do think about you once in a while.  I think you, Finn, and Okee would all get along.  Finn is a big guy and takes up a lot of space.  One of him equals to two of you.  I cannot carry him, he won't let me but then when you and Okee were young, it was also pretty hard to carry either of you.  I guess all dogs like to walk themselves and not be carried.

Anyhow, this blog has an outdated URL.  Okee is dead.  I am bumping it on your RIP week because I missed your RIP date.
